Andy and I have had a wonderful summer! I couldn't ask for a better one. We have had so many fun things going on and still more to come. It started with my best friend and college roomates wedding. I always love getting together with the "girls" and now the "guys" too since many of them have others! Congrats to Candi and Kevin who got engaged last night and will be married next summer...I am so thankful for another adventure to look forword to.
In June and July thus far we have been to several concerts, plays, camping, picnics, weddings, family festivities, a visit from our niece, and today we helped at Habitat for Humanity! I also enjoyed a beatiful few days at the Lake of the Ozarks for my Staff Retreat.
Next week I am going to the National Youth Gathering as a Community Life Leader (Yellow Shirt). I can't believe three years has passed sinced the last Gathering already! I am looking forword to seeing a billion people from the camp, church, and school world! Andy and I have never been apart for 8 days so that will be sad! Hopefully my gathering roomie doesn't mind a good snuggle :) tee hee ...
Andy was invited back as a "Medical" model for a few weekend gigs in Chicago. It is great extra cash and he enjoys traveling. We are so thankful to our friend Tim (who lives in the Gold Coast around the corner from all of Chicago's wonderful shopping) for letting Andy stay with him! I am so jealous to not be going as I do love Michigan Ave. It's a good thing I don't live there.
Andy's 35th b day is in August so we will for sure do something fun (As of now we have dinner plans with another couple at an amazing restraunt Harvest) and I also have a few fun ideas for gifts!
Well, that is all for now! I pray your summer is going well!
